Student Statistics

LFA Transparency Return 2023

1. Introduction

The Office for Students requires all English higher education providers to publish data showing attainment data in a prescribed format. The information published on this page shows the number of UK domiciled students who attained a particular undergraduate degree or other academic award, or a particular level of such an award, on completion of their course with us. It also shows these numbers by reference to:

  • their ethnicity
  • their socio-economic background
  • the gender of the individuals to which they relate

Transparency information 2023: Rounding and suppression

The data supplied by the OfS contained in the tables below have been rounded and suppressed as follows: Numerators and denominators have been rounded to the nearest 10. Where the numerator or denominator rounds to 20 or less, the data are suppressed with an "N". For the academic year 2021/22, the data set for UK domiciled students attaining a particular undergraduate degree or other academic award at London Film Academy (LFA) contained fewer than 20 students, hence the ‘N - No students in this population’ results.

2. Attainment of 2021-22 qualifiers

Qualifiers are recorded in terms of:

  • Ethnicity: white or BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic), which is broken down into Asian, black, mixed and other in Table 1b
  • EIMD (English Index of Multiple Deprivation): the index relates to areas of England (more than 30,000 of them) and, for our tables, is broken down into five quintiles, with 1 being the most deprived fifth of areas and 5 being the least deprived fifth
  • Gender: male, female or other.

Key

  • N = No students in this population
  • N/A = not applicable as no students in this mode of study
